Happy Anniversary Kate and Wills!

This time last year Leanne, Kate, (not THE Kate) Amy and Myself were fighting through the jovial crowds to try and catch a glimpse of the Royal couple.

We drove down to London the night before and stayed in Kate's brothers flat which he kindly lent us. Many people thought we were mad but I think we just wanted to be involved in such a momentous occasion.

We ended up watching the actual ceremony in Hyde park there was an amazing atmosphere, everyone was singing and there was also dancing...

Wait there's more...

Wedding dress

Just like most people who have been brides I absolutely love my wedding dress.
It is a massive shame I can't just wear it for a night out. oh well.

If you have read my 30 before 30 post you will know I haven't had my wedding dress cleaned even though we have been married for over 2 years. So its on my 30 before 30 list in the hope it would make me get round to sorting it. And I have! I have organised for a company to come and pick up, clean, box and then return my dress. They are coming on Friday I am very proud of myself.

I thought I would use this opportunity to show you my dress, annoyingly I can't access the CD's with our wedding pics on so for my I have a couple of random pics which I hope you will give you an idea. When I sort out the CD issue I will show my more of the whole wedding. It was a fun day.

Putting on my dress
Our first dance was really fun. Jamie hates dancing but for me he really threw himself in to the spirit of our first dance. hee hee.

An attempt at walking the Sandstone Trail

My friends Rachel, Alison and I tried to walk the Sandstone trail this weekend.
The Sandstone trail according to www.sandstonetrail.com,

"is one of the finest and most popular long distance walks in North West England, in the UK. For many, it’s probably the best Cheshire walk and the ultimate Cheshire Way."

It is 34 Miles long and covers different bits of countryside, including a bit of canal tow path, some great hills with brilliant views, small pathways and crosses lots of fields. (we came uncomfortably close to some cows. They are quite intimidating close up!)

The trail is well sign posted so we didn't even need to use our map.
Unfortunately after about 10 miles my hip started to hurt so for 8 miles I must have started walking differently so by the time we got to Rachel's car at Beeston Castle at the end of day one my knee on the same leg was very tight. After resting for a few hours and working out just how stiff my leg had become. We decided it would be wise to put off walking the second half of the trail until another day. I'm quite gutted. but looking forward to finishing the trail at a later date.
